The scrapbook records various aspects of the early twentieth-century travel business and is particularly rich with theatrical ephemera, indicating Nixon- Nirdlinger’s trip combined theatrical business interests with pleasure.

These nine volumes are a journal and scrapbook kept by Jessie Southard Parker of Belmont, Massachusetts, from 1899 to 1916.
